Three people have been killed after a BMW crashed into a roundabout in Liverpool.
A man in his 20s, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s all passed away in hospital following the horror collision, police said.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in the Knotty Ash area at around 12.15am on Monday.
All three victims were taken to hospital but later died, Merseyside Police said.
Their families have been informed.
The crash took place on East Prescot Road, close to the Greyhound Pub.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward, including anyone who may have CCTV footage.
A road closure is in place between the junction of Eaton Road and East Prescot Road to Blackmoor Drive.
The roundabout also remains closed in all directions.
Diversions are in place and motorists are being asked to to take an alternative route.
A police spokesperson said: “At around 12.15am, emergency services were called to East Prescot Road, close to the Greyhound Pub, to reports of a collision involving a BMW colliding with the roundabout.
“Three people, a man in his 20s, a woman in her 20s, and a man in his 30s, were all taken to hospital by ambulance and all have sadly passed away.”
